Four daily games · One film school
Your daily three minutes of cinema.
Four original daily games for people who love movies — free, every day. Behind them, an actual film school in your pocket: 18,500 entries on craft, history, and the business of the credits you sit through.
New puzzles at midnight. One a day, each.
One a day
Each game serves one puzzle per day. When you’re done, you’re done — come back tomorrow.
Three minutes
A coffee-length ritual, not another feed to fall into. Streaks reward showing up, not staying up.
Made to share
Spoiler-free result glyphs, built for the group chat that argues about movies.
The catalog
18,500 entries deep. No filler.
Every puzzle and every study card draws on one hand-built catalog of film knowledge — craft and technique, movements and masters, the business behind the billing block, cinema from every continent. Written and checked by people who argue about aspect ratios.

The study loop
Miss it today. Own it by Friday.
Every miss becomes a flashcard. Spaced repetition brings it back right before you’d forget — the same engine the language apps run, pointed at cinema. Grade yourself honestly; the schedule does the rest.
- Card-at-a-time study sessions distilled from the catalog
- An SRS schedule that resurfaces a fact right before it fades
- Kryptonite & Redemption modes that hunt what you keep missing

FAQ
Fair questions.
Is it free?
Yes. Today’s four daily games are free, every day, forever — no meter, no “three plays left.” Free accounts also get streaks, share results, and a daily taste of the study catalog. Premium exists for people who want more than a taste.
What does Premium add?
Depth, not access. The full puzzle archive (every past daily, playable), unlimited spaced-repetition study across all 18,500 catalog entries, Kryptonite & Redemption modes that target what you personally keep missing, every trivia mode, and deep stats. The games you play at breakfast never move behind the paywall.
How much will it cost?
Pricing is announced at launch, alongside a Founding Member offer for the people who show up first. It will cost less than your streaming services. All of them? One of them.
What platforms does it run on?
The web, today — filmschool.app works in any modern browser, phone to desktop. An iOS app is in the works, with progress that follows your account everywhere.
Do I need an account?
One tap with Google gets you streaks, study progress, and stats that survive your browser history. We ask for nothing beyond what sign-in provides, and we don’t sell it.
Where does the film knowledge come from?
Our own catalog — 18,500 entries on craft, technique, history, the business, and world cinema, written and curated by people who care about getting it right. Film metadata and imagery come from TMDB.

The next puzzles drop at midnight. Start the streak while it’s quiet.
